With the addition of two Kodak Nexpresses, Craftline found itself in need of a finishing system that would ensure mail integrity, as well as produce L-perf reply cards for the millions of direct mail pieces it produces.
VDP print jobs come off of the Nexpresses addressed and in mail order. Pieces still have to be finished . . . trimmed to final size, folded, and either tabbed or glued, all while maintaining the original mail sortation order. When a campaign piece uses a reply card or requires a heavier stock, pieces must be perfed and scored as well.
The opportunity for disaster was ever present.
Craftline V.P./General Manager, Larry Lengacher found a solution with the Rollem TR Die-Score system. The TR Die-Score system provides L-perfs, scoring, trimming, folding and gluing all while maintaining mail integrity.
Rollem provided Craftline with a single operation system that eliminates separate, conventional scoring, perfing, trimming, and folding operations. The single operation system greatly reduces labor costs, improves productivity, and helps increase profits.
Craftline . . . building strong partnerships with suppliers and customers for success.
